How much notice do you need for a booking?
Here at ETDiscos we don’t mind if you book us years, weeks or even days in advance, however due to high demand we do recommend that your booking is made as early as possible as we operate a first come first serve policy.
 
What kinds of events do you do?
We cater for all types of events, functions and occasions from weddings to retirement parties, children’s events to 18th birthday celebrations and we adapt all our services to your needs.


What kind of equipment do you provide? Do we have to provide anything else?

We carry top of the range sound and lighting equipment and we are always upgrading it. All you need to provide are guests!



I can’t find any prices on the website?

We don’t display our prices online; this is down to every booking being different due to travel, times, packages and additional services. But get in touch and we can give you a free no obligation quote.

 

Do you require any money up front?

All we ask for is a non refundable £50 deposit to secure your booking.

 

How can I pay you?

With regards to payment we accept cash, cheques and bank transfers. You can make a payment at anytime however when paying by cheque or via a bank transfer we won’t accept this form of payment any later that 7 days prior to the booking date. Cash payment must be made no later than the start time on the booking date.

 

Will I be given some form of invoice or a booking contract?

With every booking you will receive a legally binding contract written by the Musicians' Union. This is your booking confirmation and your invoice.



Will I have to pay VAT on top of what you quote me?

No. Due to ETDiscos being a small and local company we are not VAT registered there for you will not have to pay VAT.

 

Can we provide you with a playlist?

Of course, it is your night there for you have a huge impact on the music we play. We always try to meet acceptable requests and keep to your playlist. However it is our job to ensure everyone enjoys themselves and we will always play the right music to suit the atmosphere.

 

I’ve been quoted much cheaper that you. Can you match it?

No. Agreed there are other Discos out there cheaper than us however we carry top of the range equipment and pride alongside it. We feel that the rates in which we charge are reflected in the service that we offer. We meet with all our clients, provide every booking with a written, legally binding contract and tailor our services to suit your needs as well as maintaining and keeping up to date with the latest equipment and music.

 

I’ve been let down in the past at the last minute. What makes you different?

All of our bookings are confirmed in writing with a signature from both parties. Our contracts are legally binding so rest assured that ETDiscos will NOT let you down.

 

How much time do your require to set up and set down?

We usually require a hour either side of the event to erect and dismantle our equipment.

 

The venue has asked to see a PAT and PLI certificate. Can you provide this?

Yes of course. If this is the case then please mention it during your booking process, we will provide you with a copy of both certificates.
